Australia 2017 Part II: Dandenong

Isn’t it sad I needed a 2 week holiday to finally post again? That’s how crazy busy my life is. So now that my days are filled with spas, enjoying the pool and taking naps in Greece, here’s finally part II of my 2017 Australian trip: Dandenong.

The day after we landed in Melbourne, my aunties and uncles took us to the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden in Olinda. It may have been officially spring but the freezing cold reality lingered a bit longer so we hadn’t expected there to be that many people. Finding a parking spot was very harsh but the garden was worth it and more importantly, the entrance to the garden is free.

A couple of days later, we went to the Grants Picnic Ground, which is famous for bird feeding. I actually remember feeding parrots there when I was 17. They were all over my arms and head and weirdly this time, there were only cockatoos on my arms.

We then stopped by the SkyHigh Mount Dandenong to admire the panoramic views over the Dandenong Ranges and greater Melbourne to the Bays.

The next post is my favourite of the whole trip so it’ll definately not take 2 months before you get to read it: Phillip Island.
